Our team

Patrick Quinn

Owner and Lead Shaper

Patrick has been shaping golf courses across the UK and Europe for the past 20 years, involved in construction projects ranging from smaller winter renovation projects to the total build of new golf courses.

A junior champion at his local golf course; Patrick’s understanding of the game from a golfer’s perspective, drive for delivering the best results and adoption of the latest machinery and technology, has resulted in him becoming one of the leading golf course shapers in the industry.

Patrick’s skillset and contribution to the construction industry were recognised with him winning Groundworker of the Year at the 2025 On The Tools Awards.

The name and face of PQC, he's asked just as much about his beard grooming routine as he is about his shaping abilities (spolier alert - there is no routine!)

On a rare day off, Patrick has more recently started to make time for getting back onto the golf course with his clubs, rather than his digger.

Grace Donnelly

Owner and Managing Director

After a decade of marketing and business development roles where Grace played her part in growing some of the UK’s most well-known food and hospitality brands, Grace moved over to head up the P Quinn Construction business full-time in 2021.

Grace leads the commercial team, and is responsible for PQC’s strategic planning and execution, financial management, as well as drawing on her marketing background to maintain all of our social media channels.

An advocate for the importance of prioritising mental health within the workplace, Grace undertook Mental Health First Aider training, which she now applies to the business.

When she's not planning world domination from behind her laptop, Grace enjoys clay pigeon shooting with her Dad and attending UFC events.

Andy Wilson

Site Manager

Since leaving his IT job behind and joining PQC in 2022, Andy has been an integral member of the team.

With previous greenkeeping experience at The Belfry, The Australian, and his local golf club Wishaw, Andy has learnt the construction side of things from the ground up, and has gained a breadth of CPCS qualifications along the way.

Combining his construction know-how and project management skills, Andy is responsible for site managing our projects, although he still enjoys getting some machine time when he can! Andy also enjoyed a brief stint as a JCB Workwear model when they featured the PQC team in a photoshoot for their workwear range.

Outside of work, Andy can often be found travelling in his VW campervan.

Paul Harrison

Project Manager

Paul's seriously impressive attention to detail makes him the perfect person to lead hands-on projects such as path and sleeper wall installations, bunker renovations and finishing works.

Paul takes extreme pride in his work, and his results speak for themselves; often being requested by name for repeat work by happy customers.

A qualified Mental Health First Aider, Paul is also there as an extra point of contact to support the team's overall wellbeing.

Collecting a golf ball as a souvenir from every club he's worked at, Paul is now building quite the collection.

Outside of work, Paul turns his attention to renovating his house, and touring on his motorbike.

Matt ‘Kiki’ Colman

Senior Shaper

Kiki has over 20 years’ experience in golf course construction, with the results of his craftsmanship on display across countless courses across the UK and Europe.

Regularly requested by golf clubs by name, Kiki’s reputation as one of the best shapers in the industry precedes him.

Born in South Africa, but now calling the UK home, outside of work Kiki can either be found enjoying time with his family or in the gym.

Jordyn Ridley

Shaper

Joining team PQC in 2025, Jordyn already had a wealth of golf course construction experience under his belt from working on golf courses across Scotland.

Having a passion for both golf and construction from an early age, honing his skills as a Shaper allows Jordyn to combine both of his interests and deliver exceptional results.

Playing off a handicap of 2, when not on golf courses for either work or leisure, Jordyn enjoys travelling the world and exploring new destinations.

Ethan Walsh

Senior Labourer

The longest serving member of team PQC, Ethan has been with us from the start when we expanded our team in early 2021.

With a background in construction, Ethan is an extremely proficient Senior Labourer, and helps to keep our sites moving efficiently, both driving dumpers and on the ground. A people person through and through, Ethan is a core part of the PQC team.

Outside of work, Ethan is a huge dance music fan, often travelling to festivals and gigs.

Indy Biswas

Commercial Coordinator

Initially tasked with optimising our tender process whilst working with us on a part-time basis, not one to do things by halves, Indy took this a step further and built PQC a bespoke CRM system.

After making such a positive impact on the business in a short space of time, Indy joined us in a full-time role responsible for tenders, project support and coordination.

A huge foodie and fantastic cook, Indy is the go-to person to ask for new restaurant recommendations, especially in Birmingham's Chinatown.

He loves playing football, drumming, and tending to his wildlife garden whenever he's not being kept busy by his little boy, which is all the time!

Kerrie Quinn

Administrator

No two days are the same for Kerrie in her key role to keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes. Responsible for the day-to-day admin of the business, Kerrie does a great job managing supplier relationships and ensuring our team and machinery are in the right place at the right time, as well as offering support as one of our Mental Health First Aiders.

Gaining her articulated dumper ticket not long after joining PQC has meant that Kerrie has a good understanding of how things work on site, and can also lend a hand on site for holiday cover.

Our very own Dr Dolittle, Kerrie is a huge animal lover and rescuer, often fostering poorly animals and nursing them back to full health.

Kieran McTiernan

Senior Labourer

With over a decade of experience in construction, Kieran is a great all-rounder that can turn his hand to anything.

Equally as competent in a dumper as he is on the ground, Kieran's no nonsense approach and strong work ethic means he adds value no matter the size of the project.

Outside of work, Kieran spends his time following Aston Villa around Europe. It's safe to say some trips are more enjoyable than others!

Callum Quinn

Operator

After doing seasonal work as a labourer with PQC during his holidays from college, Callum joined us full-time in 2023.

A fantastic dumper driver, Callum actually achieved his articulated dumper ticket before he got his driving licence! More recently, he also passed his excavator operating test, adding to the range of equipment he is able to operate on site.

In his spare time, Callum enjoys socialising with friends and visiting the driving range.
